Would you like to explore positive psychology, discuss ideas and share insights with likeminded people in a fun learning environment? Join us for a guided tour of this rich, varied and inspiring field as we delve into ten books that have made a critical contribution to the science and practice of positive psychology and wellbeing.

This unique online group weaves together the best of a traditional bookclub with inspiring and practical content to increase happiness, fulfillment and wellbeing in all areas of life. You will experience fortnightly discussion groups facilitated by our positive psychology experts, reading guides to prompt your learning and a fun, supportive group of people dedicated to practicing positive psychology in their life and work.

Book club membership



The book club offers three membership levels. Explore all ten books for an immersion in positive psychology, choose five or take out a casual membership to read one book at a time. Discounts are available for our Diploma of Positive Psychology students and graduates!

  • Gold Level: All 10 texts and all sessions for the entire year
  • Silver Level: Any 5 texts and related scheduled sessions
  • Bronze Level: Any single text and related scheduled sessions
Membership level Public Diploma student/graduate
Gold (All Ten) $600 + GST $500 + GST
Silver (Any Five) $360 + GST $300 + GST
Bronze (Any Single) $120 + GST $100 + GST

If you are interested in the Gold Membership level but you have missed the first few sessions please ask us about a pro-rated rate on the books that are still to be covered.  Please don't feel you only have the Silver Membership option left if there are more than five texts that you are interested in.

Book club meetings are delivered by webinar. You will be able to access them via a PC or Mac computer (iPads are not supported).  You will also need to download Flash Player to view and listen to the recordings.

Book club options


  • Purchase - Nominate the books you want to buy when you sign up. The cost of the books and postage is over and above book club membership price.
  • Borrow - Nominate the books you want to borrow when you sign up. You will be charged 100% of the purchase price when you join and will be refunded 50% when you return the book providing it is returned without written notations and is in reasonable condition. The borrowing fee and postage is over and above book club membership price.
  • Session only - Participate in the club without buying or borrowing the books from us.
